Black 20″ forged Shelby Super Snake wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 265/35 up front and 345/30 out back. The rides on SVT-tuned Bilstein front shocks, SVT rear springs, revised control arms, a modified rear sway bar, and a Watt’s link rear suspension setup. Stopping power is provided by six-piston Shelby-branded Wilwood calipers fitted over cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and Shelby American installed front cooling ducts to provide airflow for the front calipers.
The Recaro front bucket seats are upholstered in two-tone black and gray Katzkin leather with contrasting white stitching and Super Snake logos on the backrests. Appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, branded floor mats, illuminated door sill plates, a Shaker audio system with a trunk-mounted subwoofer, and a SYNC touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. A black roll cage with door bars was installed in November 2020, and the seat belts for the rear occupants have been removed.
The Alcantara- and leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 220-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. A trio of AutoMeter gauges for boost pressure, fuel pressure, and oil pressure are mounted to the driver’s side A-pillar. The digital odometer indicates 33k miles.
A plaque affixed to the center console and in the engine bay identifies this car as a Shelby Super Snake and notes the individual Shelby American CSM number as 13SS0120.
The replacement 5.8-liter V8 was assembled and installed in November 2020 by Top of the Hill Performance Center in Livermore, California. Work consisted of adding a 4.5-liter twin-screw Whipple supercharger, sleeving a replacement block, balancing the rotating assembly, porting the cylinder heads, and installing Darton sleeves. The selling dealer notes that the engine is equipped with ARP hardware, CP-Carrillo connecting rods, and a COMP Cams camshaft kit that includes revised valve springs and titanium retainers. The fuel system was reportedly fitted with an upgraded pump, injectors, rails, and filters.
Dyno test results from February 2020 are presented above and show peak outputs of 1,147 horsepower and 943 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer notes that this test result was performed using an Ignite Red fuel tune. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, a custom driveshaft, and a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. Additional modifications reportedly include an RPS billet triple-disc carbon clutch, hi-flow catalytic converters, Borla exhaust mufflers, a differential oil cooler and vent tube, a rear tunnel brace, Moser axles, an axle girdle, subframe connectors, and a Panhard bar relocation kit.
A Shelby American completion certificate shows the individual Shelby American CSM number and VIN. A window sticker, build records, manufacturer’s literature, and a USB flash drive are included in the sale.
