The car is equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) featuring yellow-painted Porsche-branded calipers at all four corners. The GT4 utilized front suspension components from the 991.1 GT3 as well as a specially tuned multi-link rear setup and Porsche Torque Vectoring. Rod end boots have been fitted to exposed Heim joints, and additional modifications are said to include a TPC Racing dynamic suspension control unit, Tarett solid control-arm bushings, rear toe links, and adjustable drop links and tie rod ends with bump-steer adjustment.
The cockpit features power-adjustable seats upholstered in black leather with Alcantara inserts and yellow deviated stitching that extends to the dash and door panels. Porsche-branded floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include Racing Yellow seat belts, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), a CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, a fire extinguisher, a roll bar, and an Escort radar detector integrated into the rearview mirror display. The car has been hard-wired for a SmartyCam unit.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a GT4-branded central tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as a 200-mph speedometer and a digital display. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 16k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.8L flat-six sits beneath the rear cargo area and was shared with the contemporary 991 Carrera S. Modifications are said to include an IPD intake plenum, a GT3 throttle body, BMC air filters, Cargraphic long-tube exhaust headers, and high-flow catalytic converters. The car is also equipped with a lithium-ion battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The gearbox was replaced under a recall in May 2019.
