The fiberglass body was finished in blue in the style of an FIA Cobra as part of the assembly completed in 2022 by GKR Motor Cars of New Bloomfield, Missouri. A red stripe runs the width of the nose, and additional features include meatballs on the hood and sides, period decals, a hood scoop, a LeMans-style fuel cap, a single roll hoop, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and side-exit exhaust pipes.
Halibrand-style 15″ wheels are secured using three-eared knock-off spinners and wear Cooper Cobra Radial G/T white-letter tires measuring 235/60 up front and 295/50 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the car rides on an independent suspension with adjustable coilover shocks.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Equipment includes blue Simpson racing harnesses, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a white shift knob, drilled Wilwood pedals, and a JVC Bluetooth stereo. The battery is mounted in the trunk.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a quick-release hub and fronts AutoMeter instrumentation including a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, and battery voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 219 miles, which is said to represent the distance traveled since the completion of the build.
The 302ci Ford V8 was installed under current ownership and is said to be equipped with a Speed Demon 650cfm carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and an MSD ignition system along with Trick Flow Twisted Wedge aluminum cylinder heads, Proform Parts roller rockers, finned Cobra-branded valve covers, a Moroso oil pan, and an aluminum radiator. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission, per the seller. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery below.
The car is titled using Missouri-assigned VIN DRMVB0000164130MO shown above.
